HON. MARY ANN DE LOS SANTOS
She has started her political career from the basic political unit - the Barangay, serving as Councilor and as a three – termer Barangay Captain. During her stint as Barangay Captain she was a recipient of the following: Outstanding Barangay Captain, Outstanding Lupon Tagapamayapa, Outstanding Cebuano as well as the Gerry Roxas Plaque of Recognition for exemplary leadership.
Her passion in public service has also been recognized by the private sector. She was given an Outstanding Alumna Award by the Colegio de la Immaculada Concepcion (CIC), Outstanding Alumna of the USC College of Law and an Outstanding Alumna of the entire University of San Carlos in the field of public service (Virtus Awardee).
She does not rest on her laurels for she continued her commitment to be in public service and served as two term Cebu City Councilor. She has practically devoted half of her professional life in serving the people for she has been in public service for 25 years and counting.
